Adjacent-Channel/Block Combination
« Back to Glossary Index« Back to Glossary Index
COM-TECH pioneered the combination of adjacent TV channels (e.g., 21-22-23) and DAB blocks (e.g., 12A-12B-12C) within the same combiner. Adjacency combination requires Manifold or Balanced Combiners together with Mask-Combiner configuration, where Bandpass Filters in the transmitters are either absent or removed, and involves a significant power reduction on the combiners. Adjacency Combination can be implemented regardless of the required mask (e.g., Critical).
