COM-TECH innovative and proprietary Extracted-Pole Elliptical-Response design, featuring two transmission zeros in a compact, in-line form-factor. Implemented in 6 and 7-Pole CL Series UHF Bandpass Filters. Allows Adjacency Combination in Balanced Combiners.
DualCross
COM-TECH innovative and proprietary Double Cross-Coupling design, featuring four transmission zeros. It provides enhanced selectivity, optimum insertion loss and highest efficiency. Implemented in 6 and 8-Pole FC, TF, TC, TS Series Bandpass Filters. Allows Adjacency Combination in Balanced Combiners.
Cross Coupling
COM-TECH Single Cross-Coupling design, featuring two transmission zeros. It provides extra selectivity and high efficiency. Implemented in 4 Pole TS, TC Series Bandpass Filters and 6-Pole VHF B.III, DAB CL Series Filters. Allows Adjacency Combination in Balanced Combiners.
EVA-Mode
COM-TECH innovative design providing the highest Quality Factor in the smallest space, for very compact Bandpass Filters. Implemented on FM CL Series Bandpass Filters, and HE Series Bandpass Filters.
Temperature Stabilization
COM-TECH Filters and Combiners feature state-of-the-art Temperature Stabilization, achieved through 3D EM and Fluid Dynamic simulations, special materials, and environmental and laboratory tests.
Full-Band Tunability
COM-TECH Bandpass Filters and Combiners are fully tunable throughout their operating band, in accordance with all worldwide standards and regulation masks. They are engineered to be easily tuned, using a standardized and limited set of tools. Customer-defined tunings are available on request.
DC-Short
COM-TECH Bandpass Filters and Combiners feature built-in protection against antenna lightning discharges, achieved through a solid DC-Short circuit towards ground, on both the input and output couplings.
Output Monitor Probe
COM-TECH Bandpass Filters are equipped with a capacitive, non-directive Monitor Probe, providing a reference signal on the output port. The probe connector can be SMA or SMB female, and can be mounted on both sides, according to the position of the output port.
Modular Connector System
COM-TECH products feature an innovative and proprietary Modular Connector System, which allows a wide choice of connections to be mounted on the same product. It also permits easy replacement of most connectors by the Customer, at a later stage.
10-Year Warranty
COM-TECH products are known for their reliability. All passive products are guaranteed for 10 years. Active products (E.g. Forced Air Cooling, etc.) and resale products are guaranteed for 2 years.
Options
Heat Sinks
Specifically designed for COM-TECH Bandpass Filters and Combiners to efficiently reduce over-temperature and consequently increase maximum operating power. Add-on option, which can be conveniently added at a later stage.
Forced Air Cooling
Provides a dramatic reduction in over-temperature of Bandpass Filters and Combiners, and consequently allows an increase in maximum operating power. Stand-alone system, featuring DC 24 V brushless, microprocessor-controlled, variable-speed fans, engineered to be easily replaced. Includes a multi-standard (110-230V, 50-60 Hz) switching power supply, and a contact alarm for over-temperature, missing power or any kind of electrical failure. Add-on option, which can be conveniently added at a later stage.
Liquid Cooling
Provides a dramatic reduction in over-temperature of Bandpass Filters and Combiners, and consequently allows an increase in maximum operating power. Requires an external Liquid Cooling system (Transmitter). Compatible with most NTP connecting threads and with most coolant liquids, and includes a temperature sensor. Add-on option, which can be conveniently added at a later stage.
Rack Shelf
Specifically designed for COM-TECH products, and compatible with standard 19’’-Racks. COM-TECH provides standard and customized solutions (including front panel custom painting) to integrate Bandpass Filters, Lowpass Filters, Combiners, Directional Couplers and other components into Rack-Shelves. Available for CL, FC, TS, HR Series Filters; and for MX, SB, DB Series Combiners.
Retuning
COM-TECH offers several options for Retuning of its Bandpass Filters and Combiners, with different levels of autonomy for the Customer. Tuning Instructions and Tools are provided upon request. COM-TECH also offers customized Tuning Training Courses.
